Our Story
Vacaville Christian School opened in September, 1975 with one set of buildings, a handful of families, a few acres of land, and 35 students. Today, VCS impacts nearly a thousand families each year toward an inspiring vision:
Faith – VCS grads know an abiding faith in Jesus Christ and are empowered to serve God in their community and calling
Leadership – graduates are equipped with the communication and leadership skills to leads in a world desperately in need of morally courageous leaders
Service – students who graduate from VCS are servants, impacting their communities and families through a mindset of service over self
Major Needs
VCS needs champions who are inspired to partner with our school to develop faith-filled, morally courageous leaders who stand for Truth in our world.
New Facility and Campus Renovation
We remain focused on creating spaces, such as Falcon Field (our school’s multi-use artificial turf field), for students to grow in knowledge, faith, and character. We have a dream to not only renovate our school campus, but build a new on-site facility that can expand our mission and reach.
Spiritual Life and Fine Arts
We have a vision to broaden and invest in our academic and spiritual programs, including Fine Arts and curricular service projects.
Strong Teachers
We want to better hire and retain a faithful, innovative, exceptionally talented teaching faculty through more competitive compensation.
Make Christian Education Affordable
Our vision is to partner with those who would help make a life changing, Christian education affordable to all.
